How to save money and get paid online for your opinion

At Opinion Outpost UK we love to help you save money by getting paid online for your opinion, so that you can top-up your earnings in your spare time. With a few clever ideas and access to the internet, it’s perfectly possible to start saving the pennies without even noticing!

So, with just 40 days to go until Christmas, now is the time to start shopping savvy and saving the cash. Here are our five of our favourite ways to save money as you shop, as well as getting paid online for your opinion:

Shop and save

Many leading retailers offer feedback surveys on their service, plenty of which give you access to a discount code or entry into a free prize draw. If you are shopping online, look out for these – either on the home page or in an email (be sure to check your junk folder). Other top tips for saving online include leaving an item in your ‘basket’ for a bit before you buy (and the retailer may email you a promo code to entice you to shop), plus adding yourself to their mailing list to receive a special discount or searching promo code sites such as Voucher Codes to find a special money-off coupon before you buy.

Get paid online for your opinion

Online paid surveys are a fantastic way to save some money whilst filling in any downtime you may have. Opinion Outpost offers money for surveys, and you can get paid online for your opinion whilst also having an influence on the products and services that you use. If you have lots of ideas but not much time, why not take part on the go, or download a fast and free survey app on your mobile – such as QuickThoughts – to make money on the move. Both are great ways to get paid online for your opinion and save cash ready to redeem for something special later on.

Switch and save

It may be an oldie but switching your gas, electricity, mobile phone contract, broadband or even insurance could help you save money instantly. There are plenty of comparison sites to choose from, such as Money Super Market, but one of our favourite new ways to swap and save has to be Martin Lewis’ Cheap Energy Club. It’s free to sign up and they will tell you if you are ‘over-paying’, as well as monitoring the latest deals to help keep your bills down.

Collect cashback

If you shop online regularly, make sure you sign up to a cashback website, which offers you a small amount of money back after each purchase you make when clicking through their website. It sounds too good to be true but if you ever shop on Hotels.com, or even comparison sites for your insurance and suppliers, you could earn enough to buy a new pair of shoes simply after a few clicks. Try Quidco or TopCashback for the best deals and to find out more.

Watch and wait

If your favourite shop or brand has a loyalty programme, it’s worth joining it. You may well mange to save a bundle in the future. Another top tip for saving money in your favourite stores is to sign up to sale alerts. If you’re not in a hurry, being patient could be one of the best ways to save money. Check out Love Sales, where you can set up sale alerts for your favourite shops in order to get the very best price possible.

Good luck and enjoy shopping savvy whilst you save!
